The Houston Texans have agreed to a deal with free-agent QB Brock Osweiler. FOX Sports NFL Insider Mike Garafolo confirms it is a four-year deal worth $72 million, with $37 million guaranteed.
Osweiler, 25, started seven games in place of the injured Peyton Manning and played in one other game for the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos this past season. He passed for 1,967 yards and 10 touchdowns with six interceptions. Prior to 2015, he had attempted just 30 passes in his three NFL seasons.
